Why you need Content writing services ?

Posted in category content writing

Many website owners and many of our clients tend to ignore the importance of content writing services.

When they come in for the initial consultation, most clients want a dashing website, and flashy brochures. We suggest them to get some content written and they say why?

Why do we need content writing? After all the site looks good.

True the site does look good. But what about the visitors, they not only look at the website, they also read the content.

So this is your opportunity to encash in on this opportunity and presell to your customer. Let’s say you are promoting a product. Then you can think like your potential customer. Get into their head. And then create a profile of your customer in your mind.

For eg:

“ Kate is 26 years old. She is looking for opportunities to  study abroad. She is concerned about getting the right course, is bewildered by the many options available and is very afraid she might make a wrong choice.

She is also on a budget.”

Now if we know our customer, it is so very easy to write a good sales copy.

For eg:

” Are you feeling lost? Are you wondering which course to pick, which country to choose?

We can help you decide. We have helped many … ”

Ok, this was written on the fly, but do you get what I mean?

Walk like your customer, talk like your customer and your customer will adore you.

Then it is not neccessary to sell to him, he is already sold.

Take the first step and get a good content writer, let him help your business grow.

How to capitalize on the recession …

Thursday, April 9, 2009 2:47

Forrester Research quoted recently that

“eCommerce is projected to continue it’s double-digit, year-over-year growth rate in 2008 and beyond.”

What does it mean for you and your company?

Well recently the US economy has gone into recession. Also the gas / petrol prices have increased dramatically in US. You might say so what!

Well, this has caused an increase in petrol prices in India as well (not to mention the hike in prices of other commodities). But, you knew this as well.

But, Did you know that as per Forrester there is an estimated growth of 130 Billion Dollars of growth in the next 4 years. Also eCommerce is a recession proof market.

We can help you succeed.
Contact Deutron

Also, it is shocking news but true, according to a survey conducted by Forrester, it was noted that the percentage of women buying online has increased.

Why?

It seems women are buying more and more baby products. Also due to high adoption rates, baby registry websites have increased in demand.

So how does this affect you?

Well if you don’t have a website now is the time to get one. If you already have a website, Congratulations!!

Are you making money with your website?

If not you need to seriously consider 3 points:

  1. Product
  2. Traffic
  3. Conversion

Before I step into explaining these in detail, let me ask you, Did you know that the travel industry is a multi-million dollar industry?

You might be nodding your head and saying of course, that’s why I am in it.

Well I do congratulate you on being way ahead of others in having set up a physical office and staff. If you do not have a website I want to urge you to take the time to consider getting one made.

Here is why:

  1. More and more people (especially women) are buying online.
  2. It does not cost much to have a web presence. It might actually cost you less than buying a cup of coffee everyday.
  3. Increased exposure.
  4. 24*7 presence – People can contact you at anytime without you having to keep your doors open. You can take the time to respond to them via phone or email.
  5. Reliable and friendly staff. Well, what I meant is that no more disgruntled staff. Your website is an extension of what your company truly represents.
  6. People that transact online tend to be wealthier and therefore slightly less affected by short-term economic woes.
  7. Price sensitive people are more conscious of the price. Hence they go online to do research. This is the best time to catch them and convert them into our customers.
  8. More Money.

Ok, assuming you do have a website let me ask you one question.

What products are you selling?

Well, you might say, travel packages.

True, but do you have quality products to sell?

No, I have no intent of questioning your ability or your products. I am here to help you succeed and make more money than you can ever make. It is very, very important that you have unique, quality products to sell.

You might have excellent products but you need to present them in an eye-catching manner, which will make the shopper want to pay you his money right NOW.

7 deadly mistakes that can ruin your websites’ success

Wednesday, April 8, 2009 4:25
Posted in category website design
  1. Too many graphics
Contrary to the common belief that people are attracted by visuals and no one really reads, graphics can be deterrents to online sales. Web designers especially believe that their expertise is in displaying cool graphics that are visually stunning, and that is enough. But the truth is that too many graphics can ruin your chances of making sales.
First of all graphics take time to load and people do not have a lot of time. Second people need to understand why they should buy from you. Visually stunning websites might be good for display but when it comes to sales they are ineffective. If you take site like Amazon .com or eBay .com you hardly term it as visually stunning. But they are raking in profits because they are able to get customers to buy from the site. How do they do that? They have designed the website with the customer in mind and focus o building relationships with their customers and as a communication medium. If you have a business that’s what you want your website to do to get customers to buy.
  2. Lack of a customer perspective
This shows clearly when you see corporate websites talking about how great the company is and how impressive their achievements are while completely forgetting why the customers is there.
The websites need a new orientation towards the customer’s perspective and their needs. If you can get your website to talk to your customer then you have succeeded in building a relationship which in turn results in sales and referrals. You fail to do this and you have nothing but a pretty brochure that doe nothing but sit there taking up space.
  3. Lack of good copy
Copy means the content that engages people and makes them stick on to your site. In experiments done they have found that customers will go upto 30 pages of web content in one sitting! Imagine that1 If customer has found your website so interesting so as to go through 30 pages then your website has really made an impact. A good copy does not talk about products or company features but engages the reader and gains their trust.
  4. Lack of effective sales tools
Businesses forget that people go online for getting information and not for buying. Online sales is not a whole lot different from offline in that you need to gain the customer’s trust before getting them to buy from you on an ongoing basis and refer other people to you. For that your website should fulfill their need to understand what you have to offer and how it can benefit them. Tools that work online are offering free information, demos and anything that lets them sample the product or service risk free before they buy. This is especially true for softwares, books and most services.
  5. Lack of credibility
Most businesses hide behind their websites. Even though your are online people need to associate with real people. Instead of a just a phone number you will see your sales and enquiries rising if you add your entire address, real photographs of offices, key people and teams and also timings.
  6. No proper marketing strategy
Most businesses put up a website and that’s it. They expect people to find them online. Doing SEO and manipulating search engines is another way but just coming up first on goggle does not really get you the sales you need. You need to build relationships with people online by having a company blog or online newsletter or email updates to clients. This is what really works for getting your business online rocking.
  7. Lack of personal touch
The major factor for success of a website is that it has a personal touch to it. People can feel the uniqueness and the real you through your website. This is true whether you have personal website or a business website. For it to really take off you need to add that zing of uniqueness. Try it and you will never look back again.

Are you losing customers because you website does not sell?
